Normally, Safari split screen is commonly found on iPad, specifically iOS 10 version. Through the Safari Split View feature, iPad will let you open two separate websites simultaneously, this is done on iPad Pro and iPad. iPad Air 2. Step 1 : Access Safari, then choose the following ways to open Safari Split View:

✮ Press and hold a link in the original website and select Open in Split View .

✮ Use the shortcut Command + N on the hard keyboard to call this feature.

✮ Drag a tab from its space, to the left or right side of the screen. To open that tab in split view.

✮ Press and hold the Tab button and select Open in Split View .

Step 2 : Click and hold on the icon of 2 overlapping squares (Located at the top right of the Safari screen). Select M on a blank page . Now, you can launch a new website while still on this website.

#What if you want to turn off this Safari split screen?

Method 1: Drag all tabs from one screen to another. Until the last tab is dragged over, your Safari will return to its original full-screen mode.

Note: Users need to drag all tabs, not drag links to cover other tabs. If you drag the link, it will be the same as copying the address to the other website!

Method 2: Click and hold on the tab icon (two overlapping squares). Select Merge All Windows - This will help merge Safari tabs into one window.

Instructions on how to split the iPhone screen in half

Previously, the split screen feature was only implemented on iPad. So many iFans wish to do it on iPhone. Now, with iOS 14, iFan's wish will come true. The split screen feature is called Picture-in-Picture (abbreviated as PiP ). It allows you to watch Youtube and Netflix videos in a small window, while still being able to use another application.

The limitation is that this feature only supports certain applications, including: Apple TV, Safari, Podcast, Music, Home, Netflix, Face Time.

Just update iOS 14, you can use this feature by: Accessing supported applications ( Apple TV, Safari, Podcast,.) > Clicking the PiP icon (in the middle of the side toolbar left). Then, just return to the home screen and you will see the window has been minimized.
